Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is Ireland’s largest farmer-owned dairy business and the country’s second-largest dairy processor, processing c.1.1 billion litres of milk annually (17% of the Irish Milk pool) from their 3,000 milk suppliers. The Dairy business manufactures and markets a diverse range of dairy ingredients incorporating cheese and powders, including high spec proteins/ingredients for utilisation in Infant formula, food and nutrition sectors. With the abolition of the milk quotas in April 2015, Dairygold have ambitious plans to grow the business.

Headquartered in Mitchelstown, Co Cork, the Company employs over 1,150 people and generates a turnover of circa €800 million from its worldwide sales. About our Graduate Programme
Graduates starting a career in Dairygold will be given an individual, tailored two-year career path plan, to build a solid foundation of skills and competencies for a long-term career in our business. The programme provides two to three rotations into different areas of the business, while remaining in your chosen function, where specific projects are assigned. The blended learning gained on these rotations provides our graduates with exposure to a broad range of activities within the business in a structured manner. The areas of rotation will be linked to the graduate's academic discipline.
The Graduate Diploma in Management
A core element of the Dairygold Graduate Development Programme is its Diploma in Management. This accredited development programme provides graduates with the essential competencies to progress into leadership positions in the future. This Diploma in Management is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute and is formally recognised as a level 6 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
All graduates receive on-going reviews as part of the programme. Individual competency development requirements are included in each graduate's development plan and delivered through in-house experiential learning or targeted external/internal training initiatives. Each graduate will undertake 1:1 coaching sessions with an experienced external coach over their two years on the programme. Dairygold also utilises the knowledge and expertise of our Managers through a Graduate Mentoring Programme where graduates are provided with career advice, support and access to the senior members of our team and management. Last year we also added an extra dimension to our Graduate Development Programme with the introduction of external coaching support for graduates who are successful in joining us here in Dairygold.
