C&D Foods

About C&D Foods

C&D Foods first started producing pet food from its base in Ireland in 1969. As a family business the initial focus was supplying private label canned pet food to the Irish and UK markets. In 2008 we joined forces with the ABP Food Group and are now one of the largest private label pet food producers in Europe supplying quality pet products to the major supermarket and retail chains. Over the years sizeable investment in the business has ensured the growth of the operation. We now have major production facilities and sales offices in 11 locations around Europe.

Our vision is to be the number 1 Pet Food Company to work with and our promise to you is the opportunity to develop and fulfil your potential in a positive, dynamic and fast growing environment.

What we do

At C&D Foods we have built a network of production sites to meet the varying demands of our customers from large scale low cost highly automated facilities to multipurpose smaller volume flexible sites. In all cases the ethos is the same: a highly trained workforce focussed on continuous improvement and operating to the highest standards. Our ‘Excellence in Petfood” programme promotes a culture of leadership, ownership and responsibility through belief, pride and confidence in what we do. We are constantly looking forward and challenging ourselves to think of better ways of working.
