Add an annual turnover of $17.8 billion to a rental and leasing fleet of over one million vehicles spread across 8,600 locations worldwide and you get Enterprise Rent-A-Car – a business that’s grown into the largest car rental company in the world.
We owe our success to everyone from our senior managers to management trainees. They make Enterprise the workplace it is and are the main reason we won the Best Diversity in Work Experience award twice at the NUE awards. We firmly believe in empowering each of our colleagues to make the decisions that will affect their work and their career. This philosophy, along with our uncompromising commitment to customers, is what has made Enterprise a genuine success story and a truly special place to work.
Just imagine the possibilities that come with joining a huge, internationally successful business with the type of personal, entrepreneurial approach which allows individuals to stand out. Our secret lies in the fact that we’re divided up into thousands of smaller, local businesses. So when you take one of our trainee graduate jobs, you’ll be learning how to run the business yourself. And how many organisations with a $17.8 billion turnover can say that?
Join the Enterprise Management Training Programme and you’ll be based in one of our branches, learning all the business skills you need to manage it yourself. Developing skills in all areas from sales and marketing to customer service and finance, you’ll embark on a general management scheme with the opportunity to even specialise in an area of the business you’re particularly interested in. Our graduates can become Branch Managers in as little as two years.
Internships whenever you want, for as long as you want.
We believe in hands on experience, so you would face the same challenges as our full-time professionals. As a paid intern with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, you’ll learn what it takes to run a successful business while acquiring valuable skills and experience.
From a few weeks over the summer to a year-long placement, we can offer plenty of flexibility with regards to how long your internship lasts. There’s plenty of scope for promotion too, including the chance to work your way up from an intern into a professional role when you graduate.
Training and Development
All management trainees and interns have the same initial training - a classroom-based induction before being placed in a branch, and hands-on experience and training from the word go in everything from fleet management and marketing to profit and loss and sales analysis techniques. Your mentors have been where you are; they’ll be more than happy to share their experiences and help you learn about sales, marketing, customer service, business management, administrative support and more.
Get in touch
It couldn’t be simpler to ask big questions, make smaller enquiries, read our recruiters’ blogs, pick up some hints and tips, or find out what events we’re running near you. You’ll also be able to find out contact details of your local Enterprise recruiter so that you can get in touch with them personally. Whether you’re looking for an internship, a year-long placement or a graduate scheme, Enterprise could be the foundation of a great career. And, as an Enterprise management trainee or intern, you’ll be one of the new generation helping us write the next chapter of our success story. What you need to do next is find out more and apply.
