Professional Management & Leadership

Are you currently working as a manager or interested in becoming a manager?

Aim of Programme
This programme is suitable for those with previous degrees at level 7 (as a minimum) who wish to gain a formal qualification in Professional Management and Leadership.

The Higher Diploma in Business is a 12 month part-time- programme which is aimed at developing the range of managerial and leadership skills required of an effective manager.

The programme is designed for those who have decided they wish to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours that will assist in developing or enhancing leadership and management techniques, either wholly or as part of their work role. The Level 8 Special Purpose Award is a professional qualification with a syllabus that comprehensively covers all aspects of the participant's role and is based around practical experience and reflective practice. The programme is designed with strong industry input with a view to producing more efficient and effective managers and leaders. All modules assume no previous knowledge of the subject. This programme provides you with the fundamental skills to work in a management and leadership role and will complement your existing degree. It also provides you with an opportunity for further postgraduate study.

The programme is ideal for anyone without a business qualification wishing to develop key management and leadership skills. It has been designed with management and leadership skills as a dominant focus.
