Strategic Planning & Branding

Certificate in Strategic Planning & Branding Subject to Validation.

Course Content
This special purpose award is aimed at enhancing learners’ understanding of business strategy and branding in practice. It comprises two modules – ‘Business Strategy’ & ‘Strategic Brand Management.’ The programme aims to provide learners with the relevant competencies to enable them to diagnose the key strategic issues facing a business, and then to develop proposals to deal with these. It also enhances understanding of the latest techniques involved in strategic brand management, allowing learners to apply these to their own organizational / business setting.

Entry requirements

Applicants should typically have a degree level qualification (at level 8) (or equivalent) in a business related discipline, OR a sufficient academic record along with a minimum of 3 years industry or management experience.

Duration

This is a day-time delivered programme, running over one year, with attendance required on one or two days per week (depending on timetables). Classes are delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and will be supported by blended learning and significant on-line material. Assessment will comprise course work and/or examination. Exams take place in January and May.
