Research and taught Masters programmes are available at IADT. Postgraduate researchers have access to IADT's facilities. Our dedicated research hub, IT services and a meeting space. Our high quality and integrated library services are available to postgraduates.

An exceptional opportunity to conduct research and academic study with an IADT supervisory team of internationally-recognised experts in their fields. Advance in your chosen field or explore new territory. Two years full-time or three years part-time. Have you got a research proposal? Potential candidates are welcome to submit a topic for consideration at any time. Before submitting, we advise you to meet your preferred potential supervisor to discuss your proposed project. Please read the following, then contact the relevant Department for further information.

Irish Candidates: Second class honours degree at NFQ Level 8 in a relevant discipline is required. However, if you do not have the required qualifications, your application may be considered under the RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) process.

English language Requirements: Any applicant who has not been educated through the medium of English (or Irish) to Leaving Certificate or equivalent must submit a qualification in English with their application.

Topics span diverse subject areas, yet all are current and outcome-focused, aligning directly to Ireland's smart economy. Recent topics include: virtual reality, augmented reality, cyber psychology, User experience design, film & content, photography, cultural studies and business.
