About the Course


The Certified Project Management Diploma is a unique programme as it offers both International Professional Body Certification (IPMA) and Academic Accreditation (QQI Level 8 SPA awarded by TU Dublin).


It is designed for those individuals looking for a framework of best practices and techniques that will strengthen their core project management knowledge and also launch their professionally accredited career path.


The programme uses a blend of realistic projects, exercises, lectures and discussion to help participants develop the necessary skills to manage any size of project from beginning to end effectively.

IPMA Level D International Professional Accreditation

The Certified Project Management Diploma provides candidates, meeting the requisite experience requirements, with an IPMA international professional accreditation recognised in 73 countries around the world.

Who Should Attend

The course is suitable for actual or potential project managers, and for any professional who directly contributes to projects including team members and team leaders, people preparing to become project managers and project managers themselves.


Course Content


Completing the Diploma programme enables individuals to come away with concrete techniques to immediately improve project performance. Organisations will benefit by developing a pool of highly knowledgeable project managers.


A detailed assessment of each individual's technical, leadership and strategic competences enables participants to prepare a personal development plan that will take them to the next level.

Entry requirements

•A third level qualification from a recognised body;


•Candidates without a third level qualification, but with relevant professional work experience, will be considered. The candidate may be invited to interview (personal or telephone as appropriate) with the Programme Director to assess the candidate's suitability.

Duration

14 evenings

Classes run once weekly from 6:30pm-9:30pm.
