Students who graduate will hope to have acquired:
an in-depth understanding of major themes in Systematic Theology in the light of Vatican II, including: Faith and Revelation, Trinity, Creation, Christology Ecclesiology, Grace, and Sacramentology.
an awareness of the contribution of some significant Catholic theologians to the renewal of Catholic theology in the twentieth-century, e.g. Karl Rahner, Henri de Lubac, Joseph Ratzinger, Yves Congar, and others.
an ability to assess some of the more recent developments in systematic theology e.g. religious pluralism and contextual theologies.
