Normally a 2.2 Honours degree or above or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University. Students who have successfully completed the BSc in Planning, Environmental and Development can apply to this programme.
This course is also suitable for students from other spatial and Arts and Humanities related disciplines such as Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Visual Arts, Geography, Housing and Real Estate, Anthropology/Sociology and others.
This course is designed for students who go on to work in the build environment professions and those involved in community development, regeneration, real estate development and certain fields in the public service provision, local government and the voluntary sector. In recent years, the course has been designed particularly with global employers in mind and is attended by many international students.

International students (for whom English is not their first language), must be able to demonstrate their proficiency in English in order to benefit fully from their studies. Non-EEA nationals must also satisfy UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) immigration requirements for English language for visa purposes. Evidence of an IELTS* score of 6.5, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University is required (*taken within the last 2 years).
