The Business for Agri-food and Rural Enterprise programmes, have been designed to develop a conceptual understanding of the principles and processes of change affecting individuals, groups or organisations within the agri-food and rural business sectors, through an active and innovative approach to learning and teaching.
One exit point exists within this programme, PgCert.
Students will complete their courses at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), Loughry Campus, Cookstown, Co. Tyrone.
The PgDip presents full-time students the opportunity to complete two short placements. In Semester 1, two weeks or 10 days teaching at a Further Education College, and in Semester 2, three weeks in a commercial setting developing business materials in a managerial or supervisory role.
A self-funded study trip to Europe to observe best practices within business and community programmes is also an option.
