Overview
The Business for Agri-food and Rural Enterprise programmes, have been designed to develop a conceptual understanding of the principles and processes of change affecting individuals, groups or organisations within the agri-food and rural business sectors, through an active and innovative approach to learning and teaching.
There are two exit points within this programme; PgDip, and PgCert which articulate different career routes and industry needs. A Graduate Certificate in Business Communication for Rural Enterprise is also offered.
Students will complete their courses at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), Loughry Campus, Cookstown, Co. Tyrone.

Industry Links
•The MSc presents full-time students with the opportunity to complete two short placements. In Semester 1, two weeks or 10 days teaching at a Further Education College, and in Semester 2, three weeks in a commercial setting developing business materials in a managerial or supervisory role. A self-funded study trip to Europe to observe best practices within business and community programmes is also an option. Two opportunities are available to complete the MSc project either in Austria through an ERASMUS exchange or in our US partner institution, Michigan State University.
