Leadership & Management for the Community & Public Sector

Programme Description
This postgraduate programme affords students the opportunity to build a knowledge base and personal capacity in leading and managing change, governance, legislative compliance, operational matters and organisational advancement, while also developing strong analytical and research skills. The blended-learning programme combines seminars and workshops with online learning activities and self-directed study. The programme assignments combine reflective learning practices, case study analysis, and management skills development (e.g. presentations and preparation of briefing documents). There is also an opportunity to research and write a Masters dissertation.

Masters Degree
Successful completion of all 6 modules (90 ECTS) Exits available with Postgraduate Certificate (3 modules, 30 ECTS) or Postgraduate Diploma (5 modules, 60 ECTS)

Entry requirements

• A primary Degree (min 2:2) OR equivalent academic credits
• At least two years of experience working or volunteering in the community, voluntary or public sector is strongly recommended.

2 years Part-time.
