What is Accounting?
The TU Dublin Masters in Accounting offers you the opportunity to develop the knowledge and expertise you need for a rewarding career in accounting and the competences towards future leadership roles on your career pathway. In addition to a Masters level 9 qualification, graduates of this programme obtain a jump start towards gaining their professional accountancy qualification with Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) by providing CAP2 exemptions. You will undertake advanced learning in both theory and professional practice and learn to solve accounting and business problems in innovative ways. Exemptions
Graduates of the Masters in Accounting benefit from a range of accounting exemptions provided by professional bodies to include; Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA Ireland) and the Irish Tax Institute
This Masters programme foundation exposes students to the broad organisational, regulatory and market context in which accountants operate. Students then pursue advanced learning in accounting within the contexts of both professional practice and the theoretical paradigms that underpin such practice.
