The Master of Arts in Law is available only to students who have completed the DIT Post-Graduate Diploma in Law and achieve a minimum Merit Upper award.

The MA in Law is a part time programme. There is one taught module in Advanced Research Methods and students complete a 15,000 – 20,000 word thesis under the supervision of a law lecturer.

Students can generally complete the MA over the course of the academic year whilst working full time.

Graduates of the DIT PGDIP in Law (DT547), only, are eligible to apply

Enrolment and start dates

Start Date: October 2019

The MA in Law usually begins in October, after the Autumn sitting of the FE-1 exams at the Law Society.
