Music - Research

The MLitt degree in UCD entails the completion of a substantial research paper, and is generally completed in two years. While there are taught components to this degree, the vast majority of the work is completed individually, with the help of a chosen supervisor. We highly recommend that students consider the MMus (taught masters) before taking the MLitt. Please be in touch with us if you have any questions about the best degree path for you.

Entry requirements

Applicants to the MLitt programme should have achieved a first or a very high 2.1 in their undergraduate and/or postgraduate degrees.

2 years full-time.
