Digital Curation

MSc Digital Curation will prepare students to work with information creators so as to manage both “born digital” and digitised materials as well as working in information organisations and institutions to manage paper that has been digitised.
• Digital curation skills can be applied in a variety of fields and complements degrees in science, arts, business, and law.
• The Masters aims to train future professionals on how to tackle the challenging issues in maintenance of digital information.

This programme aims to train future professionals on how to tackle the challenging issues associated with the maintenance of digital information, and will provide graduates with increased opportunities for employment in data management across many sectors.

Entry requirements

You will need:
• A primary (bachelor's) degree in any subject, with an overall score of 2.1 or equivalent.
• Applicants whose first language is not English must also demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0 in each element), or equivalent.
