International (Non EEA) applicants currently residing outside of the EEA Region. No

The Msc in Digital Information Management was developed for people interested in how information is created, organised, accessed and maintained over time in organisations. Digital information management is not just about having the ability to execute technical functions- it requires an understanding of the technical, socio-cultural and economic issues associated with managing information over time in a digital world.

The master’s degree combines core elements of digital preservation and curation as well as area-specific tracks with specialised modules to prepare you to work in different sectors. You will learn from academic and industry leaders in Ireland about how to manage “born digital” and digitised materials in a variety of formats including text, image, audio and video. You will explore the challenges of maintaining digital information and acquire the skills needed to liase with technologists about data storage and data management issues.
