Careers or further progression

Graduates of this programme will have the professional and operational competencies required to avail of employment opportunities at junior management positions within the international hospitality sector.

However, it is a realistic expectation of the programme board that graduates will, with appropriate work experience, progress to middle and senior management positions within a relatively short time period after graduation.

Additional employment opportunities open to students on completion of this programme could also include positions as business specialists (e.g. HR, Marketing, Finance) within international hospitality organisations.

Where students wish to follow careers in teaching, lecturing or research, this will be possible with subsequent postgraduate study.
