Description
The MEd in Teaching and Learning is a part-time programme aimed at teachers,lecturers,trainers and education professionals who wish to enhance their knowledge and repertoire of teaching methodologies. Participants will critique contemporary teaching methods and education systems and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunites facing educators, trainers and students in different educational contexts. This scholar-practitioner approach will inform and enhance participants' practice and their ability to create effective student-centred learning environments.
Programme Outline and Delivery
The MEd in Teaching and Learning is a part-time, flexible programme, delivered in blended mode and designed to enable participants to complete the programme at their own pace of study. The programme is delivered in part-time mode using a blended mode of delivery that includes class-based workshops, generally Saturdays, and in blocks throughout the year and on-line work using Moodle.

Our experienced lecturing team develop participants' professional skills and competence as teachers, lecturers, trainers and education professionals whilst valuing the wealth of knowledge and experience that they, as adult learners, bring to the classroom. Participants can apply their learning directly to enhance their practice and can share their experience in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
