Acoustic Engineer (Graduate)
Allegro Acoustics is an acoustic design consultancy based in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. We work with leading Architects and Engineers on signature building projects throughout Ireland, United Kingdom, USA, South America and Middle East. Allegro Acoustics is primarily focused on a mix of bespoke design projects and larger capital projects (€20m - €500m).

About the Candidate
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a similar and equivalent technical degree. The successful candidate will also have a natural interest in sound design, audio and music.
About the Role
The successful candidate will receive in-house and external training for all aspects of this role. This role will typically include the following:
- Acoustic testing and assessment at client sites throughout the Republic of Ireland and the UK.
- Acoustic design of spaces to include offices, schools, hotels, residential buildings, music venues, studios, performance spaces and leisure facilities. This will involve working with 2D and 3D drawings of spaces.
- Report writing for completed projects. Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Input to the design process for construction projects to include drawing mark-up and report compilation.
This role will require the successful applicant to hold a full drivers license and have his or her own mode of vehicular transport. Use of one’s own private vehicle will be remunerated in line with guidance set out by the Revenue Commissioners.
This is a client facing role, and hence a professional approach and good communication skills are essential. Candidates who can present themselves well when interacting with clients and colleagues will be considered to be particularly well suited to this role.

Office hours – 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, finish at 3:30pm on Friday
