Role Description

Davra are seeking an a recent software engineering graduate to join our team. Along with more senior colleagues you will be building new services and applications for our expanding global portfolio of clients. You will be working on front-end frameworks such as Vue.js as well as developing server-side microservices and of course developing connectors to the ever expanding set of IOT devices.

Role Requirements

You are a graduate in software engineering with software development skills particularly in Javascript applicable to both front-end web applications as well as server-side scripting e.g. Node.js. You familiar with Linux and have some exposure to Cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.

  • Third level qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Programming competence, ideally JavaScript but also Python
  • Familiar with Linux
  • Data structures and Algorithms
  • Expose to Cloud, such as AWS and Azure

Valuable extras

  • Modern container environments, especially Kubernetes
  • Versioning tools
  • Rest APIs
  • Automated testing and CI/CD
  • Agile software methodology
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP stack
  • Demonstrated interest in IOT

Responsibilities
