Baker
Shells Cafe is looking for a passionate and motivated Baker to join our team by the sea in Strandhill, Co. Sligo.
Founded by Jane and Myles in 2010, Shells Café is known for its seasonal food, homemade baking, quality coffee, and relaxed coastal atmosphere.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative, fast paced kitchen environment and wants to grow their skills within an established independent café and bakery. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, working 5 days per week with early morning starts and finishes.
Salary is competitive and dependent on experience, making this a great starting point for someone looking to build a career in baking.
Responsibilities include preparing breads, pastries, cakes, and baked goods, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, supporting daily kitchen production, and following food safety and hygiene standards.
We are looking for someone with a passion for baking, a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Perks include staff coffee and lunch, employee discount, on-site parking, and the opportunity to work with a friendly and creative team by the sea. Start date is June / July 2026 onwards.
