The Audit department at Deloitte is split into two specialist groups:

  • Financial Services: Banking; Investment Funds; Securitisation; Insurance; Leasing.
  • Consumer & Technology Business : Manufacturing, Distribution, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Media, Technology; Property.

The Assurance team covers both specialist groups above, specialising in a number of different areas:

  • Complex Accounting Assurance
  • Accounting Operations Assurance
  • Disruptive Events Assurance
  • Business Assurance
  • Providing assurance to a third party (e.g. customer, investor, regulator, etc.) on financial or non-financial data, ecosystems and related controls.
  • The team also has a special focus on blockchain, digital assets and sustainability reporting and assurance.

Learning Opportunities:

As an Audit Associate you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of corporate and public sector organizations, including well known multi-nationals. Our clients are diverse in scale, industry, and location. Beyond the learning involved in supporting a range of important clients in relevant projects and working alongside the best professionals using trending technologies, you will be supported in completing ACA qualification.

The ACA is a globally recognised professional qualification that will empower you with the unique skills required to drive business decisions that help create better economies and communities. You’ll have the knowledge and expertise to shape your career and be a leader in business.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Achieved or are currently on target for a 2.1 honours degree or higher
  • A high level of self-motivation and commitment
  • The ability to analyze and work through complex problems
  • Demonstrated leadership, creative problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility, resilience, and intellectual curiosity
  • A proactive approach to work
  • Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment
  • The ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage change
