The Engineering Graduate Development Programme is aimed at new and recently qualified graduates in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Civil or Energy Engineering.

As a successful graduate, you will join the two year EirGrid Group Graduate Development Programme which begins in September 2023. The Programme offers structured rotations (typically 3 rotations), challenging assignments and exposure to different aspects of our business. Throughout the Programme, you will be provided with real responsibilities and a range of activities to ensure their knowledge of our business and their technical skills and experience are developed.

You will be involved in all aspects of our business to grow your knowledge and skills in all aspects of this dynamic sector including technical planning and operational, commercial, project management, regulatory, analytical, financial, research and electricity market activities

You will have a 2:1 capability in electrical, electronic, mechanical, civil or energy engineering. You will demonstrate excellent knowledge within your chosen discipline. You will have strong analysis, judgement and problem solving skills.

Most importantly, you need strong interpersonal and team working skills; you need to work collaboratively with colleagues. You also need strong communication skills and have an awareness of customer and stakeholder needs and expectations.
