Working in a project based environment you will need a relevant honours degree as well as drive, enthusiasm and the ability to work on your own initiative. The role will involve a mixture of office and site based responsibilities. Although post qualification experience is not vital we are looking to attract people who can show experiences of teamwork and initiative. As a project based organisation, the ability to be flexible about location will be of benefit.

As a Graduate Project Engineer with Jacobs you will work within established project teams to execute and deliver safe technical solutions to our clients. This position will provide successful applicant with an environment where you have access to unlimited learning opportunities and space for growth in order for you to work towards your career in Project Engineering. You will be expected to perform a variety of routine assignments involved in either the coordination of various engineering, construction, purchasing, scheduling and start up aspects of a project, or the technical excellence of the engineering portion of a project across all disciplines under the supervision and guidance of senior team members.
Here’s What You’ll Need:

- Honours Degree in an appropriate engineering or management subject
- Have technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments
- Knowledge of industry standards and design criteria within the engineering industry
- Knowledge of project engineering processes and procedures
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Knowledge of project control systems
- Knowledge of proposals and bid processes
- Understands engineering estimate basis
- Understands contractual requirements for the project
