Our Internship Programme

At Irish Water, we offer a variety of work experience placements for those looking to do their internship with us. Placements can be from 7 to 11 months. Shorter intern placements of three months will also be considered.

We are looking for ambitious and talented students like you to join our organisation and help us as we transform the Water Services Industry in Ireland.

We offer interns experience in the following Business Functions/Department:

  • Engineering
  • Finance
  • IT
  • Marketing
  • Legal
  • Corporate Affairs/Internal Communications
  • Customer Services
  • People and Safety

The Person

You are:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines will be considered)
  • Must be returning to complete studies after the completion of the placement (students in their 2nd or 3rd year (must be second-last year)
  • A natural problem solver, who relishes working in diverse teams and has strong communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, innovation, and pride in the work you deliver
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Enthusiastic, curious, and ambitious
  • You must be eligible to work in Ireland for the duration of the internship (Stamp 2)
