Key Responsibilities:

As a participant in the ESB Undergraduate IT Programme, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Management Office. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the administration of the eLearning system.
  • Supporting the Project and Portfolio Management SAP System (SAP PPM) and associated processes.
  • Managing the ITs Resourcing mailbox to promptly address queries and issues.
  • Facilitating weekly/monthly communications to ITS staff regarding timesheets.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers and Team Leads to address data quality concerns.
  • Supporting the Quarterly system releases of changes to SAP PPM, including contribution to requirements prioritization and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Providing aid to the team lead/portfolio analysts through ad hoc reports and queries.
  • Utilizing technologies such as SAP PPM, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Power BI.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or be working towards one) in IT, Computer Sciences, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related course where IT was a core component.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical acumen and the capacity to quickly acquire new knowledge.

Location:

While ESB's IT Services team is primarily headquartered in Dublin 2, at ESB's Head Office, your assignment may also involve periods of work at our other offices in Dublin 3 or Dublin 9.

Contract:

This is a fixed-term contract position, offering valuable experience and exposure within ESB's IT function.
