Position: Marketing Assistant

12 Month position with review at end.

40 hours per week

Hybrid role, 3 days a week office based (Dundalk), 2 days from home

Salary: 26,000sterling per annum/ 30,000euro per annum

 

The Company:

FSL is the home to many of Irelands much loved drinks brands including MONIN, illy café, Tall Order coffee, Matcha Ninja, Drink me Chai and MONBANA Hot chocolate.

Role Summary

Strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, executing marketing strategies, planning events and activity in line with the brand plan. Developing online presence and content for websites and social media such as @MoninIreland.

Job purpose:

Liaising with Commercial and leadership team to make decisions for commercial activities and set strategic goals for all brands. Planning and monitoring the day-to-day commercial activities to ensure smooth progress and success of FSL brand marketing plans

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1.       Supporting the MONIN Brand Manager and Managing Director in completing agreed activities

2.       Own the online and digital marketing for all FSL brands including MONIN, illy, Tall Order

3.       Website maintenance: Oversee and update product inventory, onboard new listings, create seasonal promotional banners, write blog content, manage clearance sections and coordinate annual domain renewals for all FSL websites. Provide support to the admin team by assisting with online customer enquiries as needed

4.       Social media management: Plan, create and schedule engaging content for MONIN, illy and Tall Order across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. This includes developing both video and photo assets aligned with each brand

5.       Email marketing: Manage the marketing database and execute email campaigns. Design and distribute newsletters in line with seasonal promotions across all brands

6.       Monitoring online competitor activities in order to find leads for the company

7.       Collaborate with digital agency to monitor and review keywords and performance metrics for Google Ad campaigns

8.       Marketing collateral: Coordinate development of POS materials such as flyers, brochures and seasonal recipe guides. Manage customer POS requests, creating assets internally using Canva or briefing external graphic designers as needed. Liaise with printers to ensure timely production and delivery

9.       Maintain MONIN’s key account online portals - onboarding new listings, managing inventory and pricing and ensuring all imagery and marketing information is accurate

10.   Promotional material: Manage the sourcing and ordering of branded merchandise including staff uniforms and promotional items to support brand visibility

11.   Provide sales support to MONIN Brand Manager Ireland and admin team including sharing specification sheets, allergen information and product imagery with customers as required

12.   Assist with planning and execution of trade shows and events for all FSL brands e.g. coordinating photography, POS and merchandise

13.   Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of marketing projects to ensure smooth progress

14.   Evaluate the efficiency of marketing initiatives to provide timely reports and feedback

15.   Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills

16.   Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development

17.   Complete any reasonable request for other duties, at the discretion of senior management

The Person

•         Excellent communication, verbal, listening and written skills.

•         Third level qualification, preferably BSc in Marketing, Business Studies, Communications, Advertising.

•         Excellent organizational and people skills

•         In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply

•         chain, finance, customer service etc.)

•         Working knowledge of data analysis and customer performance/operation metrics

•         Ability to display Creativity for new marketing solutions.

•         Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. IQ)

•         Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail to run operations independently

•         Experience at meeting daily targets

•         Discretion & Confidentiality is a must for this role

Business financial goals, including MONIN Brand revenue and profitability

Ongoing customer (internal/external) satisfaction as determined by line manager

FSL marketing activity performance level – monitored weekly, managed monthly
