Key Responsibilities:

As a participant in the ESB Marketing Undergraduate Programme, you will gain comprehensive exposure to all facets of the marketing mix. Your role will involve providing support to the marketing team in the following areas:

  • Social Media: Assist in conceiving and executing campaigns across ESB Networks' social media platforms.
  • Digital Content: Contribute to the creation of engaging content for the ESB Networks website.
  • Events Management: Support the planning and execution of vital events for the ESB Networks brand, both internal and external.
  • Public Relations: Participate in PR activities for all ESB Networks' campaigns and initiatives.
  • Internal Communications: Contribute to content creation and the implementation of internal communications initiatives through various ESB channels.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should possess a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or be working towards one) in Marketing-related degree program who possess the following attributes:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Proficiency in both verbal and written communication to effectively convey ideas and information.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy and precision in tasks and projects.
  • Collaborative Nature: Experience working harmoniously in a team-based environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while concurrently managing multiple tasks.
  • Effective Time Management: Strong organizational skills to efficiently allocate time across various responsibilities.
  • Passion for Marketing: An individual who exhibits genuine interest in marketing and communications and seeks practical exposure to diverse marketing functions.
  • Digital Enthusiast: Especially interested in social media and digital platforms, displaying a curiosity to explore their potential in a professional setting.


You will be stationed at ESB's Head Office in Dublin 2.

ESB is a founding member of The Remote Alliance, an initiative established in partnership with Grow Remote, a social enterprise. As part of this alliance, we are dedicated to devising sustainable solutions for remote and hybrid work arrangements that align with our business goals.


This is a fixed-term contract position, offering valuable experience and exposure within ESB's Marketing function.
