Now, we’re looking for a Safety, Facilities & Fleet Co-Ordinator to join our team. This role will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco – keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Co-ordinate the administration function of the safety, facilities, & fleet systems to maintain compliance with relevant safety & environmental standards, fleet accreditation, legislative & CSR requirements.
  • Ensure all applicable legislation is tracked and programmes implemented to ensure compliance with HSA, EPA, RSA and ISO expectations.
  • Complete regulatory reports and notifications to the HSA, Local Authority, EPA & RSA.
  • Review incident data weekly to report on trends, to determine investigations are taking place and that corrective actions are identified and implemented.
  • Co-ordinate the internal and external audit and inspection programme
  • Co-ordinate the Objectives and Targets programme across all relevant functions.
  • Assist in management of safety related training requirements.
  • Compile monthly reports for all relevant functions & communicate performance via metrics to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Contractor management, reviewing and approving documentation, monitoring and tracking completion of all maintenance, service and statutory inspections of plant, equipment and fleet across all site to schedule maintenance work prior to expiration.
  • Co-ordinate management of the site waste management programme with the appointed total waste management service provider.
  • Registering and Co-ordinating New Vehicles set up prior to first use – Tachomaster/Toll-Tags/Truckfile etc.
  • Monitoring VOR process - (Monitoring the down time of vehicles)

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Health & Safety Administration role in a large organisation.
  • Qualification in administration desirable
  • A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative, within the EHS and other site teams while managing multiple tasks across busy sites.
  • Play a key role in promoting and maintaining a strong health & safety culture within the company.
  • Play a key role in maintaining the ISO45001 H&S accreditation, FTAI accreditation and obtaining ISO14001 environmental accreditation – experience desirable
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Excellent Computer skills with a very good working knowledge of full range of MS Office packages.
  • Will be able to demonstrate an ability to create concise reports.
  • Full clean driving licence as there will be travel to other sites on occasion.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of manual handling/ergonomics, incident investigation, COSHH, how relevant legislation applies.
