Internship

Are you excited about learning new technologies? Do you like to experiment and figure out how something works? Do you enjoy writing and making complex information clear, accessible, and easily understandable? If yes, then this might be the internship for you.

We are offering a 12-week summer internship program for a technical writer . The program starting from 05th of July-30th of September, is designed to give a talented candidate the opportunity to interact directly with software development teams and other cross-functional groups while learning what it means to be a technical writer.

You will be joining a talented and committed team composed of technical writers, UX writers, information architects, and software developers who are passionate about innovation and customer success. You will use your ability to grasp technical concepts to convert developer-speak into compelling and useful content that makes our users successful. Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand our products.
  • Create and maintain online documentation for our products, services, plugins, and APIs.
  • Explore how to deliver the right information when and where users need it.
  • Learn how to work in an Agile docs-as-code environment and use a variety of software tools.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Computer Science, English, Technical Communication, or a related field with an expected graduation date from Fall 2023 to Spring 2024
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and passion for solving problems
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work to a deadline
  • Enthusiasm for working cross-functionally and with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and initiative

Nice to have:

  • Creating content, including videos and multimedia
  • Analytics and data visualization
  • Programming, frontend development, scripting
