Our team tackles a variety of domains within Property and Casualty insurance; the internship is designed to provide opportunities to work in a real-world business environment, researching user needs for software that people use in the insurance industry. You’ll also have an opportunity to join other interns to network and build relationships in our global internship program.
Your day-to-day:
Being a part of our Dublin HQ UX team will give you an opportunity to learn what it means to be a professional User Experience Researcher by allowing you to gain experience:
- Collaborating with product teams to plan research and conduct studies using common methodologies like usability testing, surveys, heuristic evaluation, and user interviews
- Working with fellow researchers to recruit and schedule study participants, create surveys and interview guides, facilitate studies or take notes during remote sessions, analyze data collections and deliver findings and recommendations
What you need to be successful:
- Current student or recent graduate of a bachelors or masters program in: anthropology, sociology, psychology, human-computer interaction, industrial design, user experience design, Design Thinking, or a field related to user research with an accredited college/university.
- Excellent communication skills:
- Capable of clearly communicating, in both written and verbal format
- Strong relationship management skills are a plus
- Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills
- Ability to managing multiple tasks and projects
- Keen attention to detail is required
- Must be fluent in English, additional languages a plus
