My first rotation was on the marketing team, and I came at a busy period, 2 weeks before the companies 29th birthday. Safe to say, things were quite hectic! Fortunately, the team were so welcoming and helpful that I was able hit the ground running, and by the time the first month was over I felt like a long-term member of the team. In the marketing department, no two weeks were the same, which made for quite an exciting few months!

The coffee rotation has been quite unique as we have been focusing on the rollout of our new Braeburn coffee brand. My daily tasks on the coffee team include dealing with coffee quality activities across the business, stock management for installs nationwide, creating marketing material, liaising with external suppliers, overseeing the install of our Braeburn carts and ensuring the smooth rollout of the new coffee brand.

The premium offerings of the new barista-machines have created a buzz around the office, and it’s been a great experience travelling around the country with the roll out.

Some of the memorable and fun experiences I’ve had include attending barista competitions, barista training courses and drink recipe creation days. I’ve developed numerous skills such as barista skills, latte art, project management, vendor management, customer service, graphic design, video editing, charity event management and social media management.
