I have the chance to work with people across the Sia Partners international network and hear about their experiences. These opportunities are important to me because I am just starting out in my career, and exposure will help me narrow down the areas that I am passionate about.
What skills/knowledge did you learn at university that you are now implementing in role?
Many of the skills I developed in university are used in my current role. I am constantly building on my communication, organisation, time management and analytical skills through my project and internal work. I have to adapt these to suit the different tasks that I have to complete for different stakeholders.
Collaboration is another key skill that I developed in university that I use daily, being able to work effectively with other project members on a project team and throughout the course of internal initiatives is so important for success and my development.
