With so many graduate opportunities available, it can be difficult to choose what you believe is the best match for you. I was immediately drawn to the position at Sia Partners. I wanted to work for a company that would allow me to demonstrate my abilities across several areas of business, which Sia Partners offer.

It is important to remember that, while we are all anxious to secure a job after graduation, you should never lose sight of what you truly want from a career, company, and role.

All three of these became clear to me after my initial encounter with an employee at Sia Partners, and from there I couldn't wait to start my career with them.

Tell us about your current graduate role with Sia Partners? What’s the most exciting thing about it?

Since beginning my adventure with Sia Partners, I have played a crucial project management role that has required me to manage a variety of responsibilities.

For me, the most exciting aspect has been watching my connections, both internal and external, grow stronger. This, I believe, stems from the fact that I always have someone to lean on in Sia Partners.

I am continually encouraged to think about new ideas and to act on my own. This is really important to me since I feel it is the greatest way to learn!

Share your top 3 tips for someone looking to secure a graduate role.

The most important piece of advice is to be yourself because Sia Partners wants to see the real you and get to know you! Sia Partners works directly with a wide range of businesses, and how you let your personality shine through in conversation will indicate how you might interact with a client.

Another essential thing is to express what you're passionate about. Every one of my colleagues is extremely passionate about the work they do, and I believe that is what sets us apart.

Finally, be truthful to yourself. Is this graduate role for you? Consider not just if you would be a good match for the business, but also whether the business would be a good fit for you.
