There is a growing shortage of accountants in Ireland. Accountants, Auditors, and Tax professionals are consistently on the Irish government’s critical skills shortage list. Our Master of Arts in Accounting will enhance your analytical skills and teach you advanced accounting subjects in theory and practice. This course provides postgraduate education and training at the forefront of accounting and accounting-related practice. With the maximum exemptions from ACCA, CPA, CAI and CIMA, our innovative Masters programme is highly successful and has been developed in close collaboration with the Professional Accounting Bodies. Level 8 Honours Degree with a specialisation in accounting, second class honours (2.2). If you don’t have an Honours degree but have relevant experience you may also eligible to apply via Recognition Prior Learning (RPL).

When to Apply

Postgraduate courses are popular, and they fill on a first come, first served basis. There are two major intake periods throughout the academic year, September and January. For January start courses, applications typically open in October, and for September start courses, applications typically open in February. Closing dates for applications are listed on the individual course webpages.
