The Professional Diploma in Artificial Intelligence Management in Financial Services is a level 9 UCD accredited programme aimed at both specialists and leaders responsible for AI deployment or managing AI teams.
This programme will provide you with the knowledge and skills to:
• Deepen your understanding of AI developments within financial services and FinTech firms
• Shape long-term AI strategies in the Financial Services industry
• Ensure the ethical and compliant integration of AI in FSI
• Align responsible AI initiatives with business goals, managing external partnerships, and steering strategic foresight and operational excellence.

When you successfully complete this programme, you will be awarded a Professional Diploma in Artificial Intelligence Management in Financial Services from UCD.
Subjects taught
Modules and learning outcomes
Managing Responsibly with AI (NFQ Level 9, 10 ECTS)
This module will equip students with the skills to cultivate and implement AI knowledge integration, practices, strategies, responsibilities and policies.
Managing for Results with AI (NFQ Level 9, 10 ECTS)
This module will utilise advanced AI techniques to guide the improvement of operational efficiency and strategic decision-making within financial services.
Formulating and delivering an AI Management Strategy (NFQ Level 9, 10 ECTS)
Focuses on the strategic deployment of AI and on the impact on AI Management.
Entry requirements
Entry Requirements
The entry requirements to the Professional Diploma in Artificial Intelligence Models and Programming in Financial Services are as follows:
• An Honours degree (second class grade 2 award or higher) in business or cognate discipline (e.g. econmonics, accounting, information technology)
or
• Admission may also be considered for experienced professionals who do not meet the admission requirements as set out above, where they can demonstrate knowledge through their work i.e., they have more than 5 years’ experience in a management role (to be considered on a case-by-case basis).

This award is on the Pathway to MSc in Financial Services. Those wishing to continue their studies and achieve the MSc will receive the higher award only.
