Applied Computer Networks & Security - Limerick Campus
This MSc is aimed at IT professionals who want to develop their career in computer networks and network security. These learners may be in employment in the IT industry already or may have little or no background in networks and wish to upskill from a cognate level 8 qualification. Learners who enrol in this programme will have the option of an exit award after achieving 60 credits (Diploma in Network Security) or 30 credits (Certificate in Applied Computer Networks).
What will the time commitment be?
Each 5 credits will normally equate to approximately 100 Total Learning Hours. Total Learning Hours includes the time you spend in class (lectures, tutorials, practical elements) and the time you spend completing work outside of college.
