Computing in DevOps - Letterkenny
DevOps is the practice of operations and development engineers participating together in the entire service lifestyle, from design through development process to production. DevOps is characterised by operations staff harnessing the same techniques as developers for their systems work. Topics the course covers include: DevOps Software Engineering, Project Management and Deployment Pipelines.

This programme is suitable for individuals who have a strong interest in software development, IT operations, and continuous integration and deployment processes, and who want to develop advanced skills in these areas to pursue a career in DevOps or related fields.

Entry requirements
Applicants require a Level 8 Honours degree in Computing, or equivalent, second class honours (2.2), or Higher Diploma in Computing (Conversion Course into Computing). Students without an Honours degree with relevant experience may also be eligible to apply via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Application dates
Flexible learning courses are popular, and they fill on a first come, first served basis. There are two major intake periods throughout the academic year, September and January.

Duration
1 year full-time, 2 years part-time On-Campus delivery.
Study Hours
Students can expect to allow between 10 and 20 hours for study per week.
On-Campus attendance: No attendance required.
