Computing for Educators - Letterkenny

Each certificate is worth 10 ECT credits and is at level 8. Educators can take as many or as few of the certificates are they wish but completing 6 certificates will enable the participant to convert their 60 credits into a Higher Diploma in Computing for Educators.

Entry requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements
A full level-8 qualification or equivalent or B.Ed. Preference will be given to professionals working in the education sector.

Application dates

Each module runs twice a year where possible. Once in Athlone Education Centre (AEC) and once in Letterkenny IT. Educators must specify the module code of the certificate they wish to gain when ap-plying. Please note module codes are different for Athlone Education Centre and Letterkenny IT. Edu-cators should ensure they specify the correct module code for their chosen location when applying.
