This programme is suitable for Registered Nurses.

Course Content
Anatomical and physiological changes associated with the ageing process;
Health and functional ability of the older person;
The deteriorating health in the older person;
Skills required to conduct a physical health assessment of the older person
Clinical decision making
Entry requirements
Applicants must be a registered Nurse with NMBI or equivalent
Applicants must be currently employed in a health care setting
All applicants will normally hold a relevant Level 8 qualification (or equivalent). Applicants who do not have a Level 8 qualification may apply for entry to the programme in accordance with the procedures outlined in the DkIT Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy.
