Postgraduate Diploma in Cybersecurity
The Postgraduate Diploma in Cybersecurity will enable learners to acquire the skills which are highly sought after by recruiting employers. Jan Carroll, the lecturer delivering this programme, has recently been shortlisted for Cyber Educator of the Year in the EU Cyber Awards 2022. With a recognised shortage of suitably qualified professionals in this market, there is an urgent demand amongst employers to obtain the requisite skills to overcome this imminent challenge. This programme, which draws together two themes of cyber security and user experience will provide learners with the necessary technical knowledge, skills and competence to obtain employment in this growing sector.

Study is part-time and online. Online delivery is supported by an induction day at the beginning of the programme. The informative live webinars (7pm-9pm every Monday and Thursday) will aim to develop participants’ ability to apply knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity and user experience. Participants will attend 5 interactive group sessions (Saturdays). These sessions facilitate discussion and debate and promote the transference of skills and knowledge into the workplace, with guest lectures contributing to these important workshop sessions.
