Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering
This flexible diploma enables you to combine modules from engineering analysis and technology management to shape a qualification that suits your career aspirations. You will broaden and deepen your understanding of professional engineering, and work collaboratively on a project module. The diploma also provides a route to a masters level engineering qualification, and can help you progress towards Chartered Engineer registration.

There are two routes through this qualification:
• Route 1 is for all new students; and for students that started their studies from November 2019 or later.
• Route 2 is for students that started their studies before November 2019. If you're following this route, you must complete your studies by 31 December 2023.

Entry requirements
You should normally hold a UK honours degree (or equivalent) in a subject with a high mathematics content. If you don't have an honours degree, you may still be able to study this qualification by demonstrating your ability to study at postgraduate level – contact us.
Your spoken and written English must be of an adequate standard for postgraduate study. If English is not your first language, we recommend that you will need a minimum overall score of 6 and minimum score of 5.5 in each of the four components: reading, writing, speaking and listening under the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
