Course Overview
Ranked 1st in Ireland and 7th in the World for Entrepreneurship (Eduniversal 2023), this programme is built for those motivated by the desire to create. With a focus on technological and international entrepreneurship, we equip students with specialist knowledge and practical knowledge and practical skills needed to start new ventures, finance start-ups, support new enterprise and scale existing businesses.

Is This Course For Me?
This M.Sc. is specifically designed for students from a non business background with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for creating. Graduates gain the specialist knowledge and practical skills needed to start new ventures, finance start-ups, support new enterprise and scale existing businesses. We aim to produce graduates who will become future change-makers and who seek to shape and transform business for good.

Subjects taught

This course is worth 90 credits delivered over one academic year. The taught component comprises modules totalling 60 credits. Students also complete a dissertation or company project which accounts for a further 30 credits, to be eligible for consideration for the award of the degree.

You undertake a business plan or company research project, individually or in groups, instead of the standard dissertation.

Entry requirements

Applicants are required to posses a minimum 2.1 Honours degree or international equivalent. They should also have two academic referees (applicants with work experience can instead provide one academic and one professional referee). Applicants whose first language is not English and were not educated in the language will also need to complete an English competency exam (in line with Trinity's postgraduate English language requirements).
