Healthcare - Applied Leadership & Management in Healthcare - Mayo
This programme aims to develop the leadership, managerial, and organisational skills of the healthcare leader and manager. Graduates will function as highly competent self-aware senior leaders, capable of informing strategy and guiding teams at the highest level in their sector. This degree is work-focused and applied in nature, focusing on inter-disciplinary application.

When to Apply
Flexible learning courses are popular, and they fill on a first come, first served basis. There are two major intake periods throughout the academic year, September and January.
For January start courses, applications typically open in October, and for September start courses, applications typically open in February. Closing dates for applications are listed on the individual course webpages.

Duration
1 year part-time, blended.
Study Hours
It is recommended that a student allow for up to 10 hours per week per 10-credit module.
On-Campus Attendance
Attendance is required at the Mayo Campus for 4 x 2 days residential sessions per semester (Thursday and Friday once a month over the first academic year). The final year will comprise of scheduled meetings with the research supervisor.

Progression Pathways
Many of our Masters programmes are structured in a way that includes recognised entry and exit awards. This means that you can apply for part of Masters first and learn at your own pace or if you are unable to complete the full programme, you can still gain a recognised qualification. Our entry and exit awards typically include Postgraduate Certificate award and a Postgraduate Diploma award.
