This course is ideal for individuals who already have qualifications or experience in hospitality or business and want to elevate their understanding of hospitality systems, emerging trends, and advanced business practices. It attracts those aiming to build on their existing strengths while developing specialist skills in areas such as strategy, hotel asset management, intercultural communication, and project management.



Candidates are typically professionals or graduates seeking a focused, intensive programme that combines lectures, industry engagement, experiential learning, simulations, guest speakers, and real-world projects over a single 12-week semester.

Required SC6108: Strategy and Innovation for Hospitality

Required SC6116: Intercultural Communication for Business

Required SC6107: Project Management

Required SC6105: Hotel Asset Management

Candidates for the Postgraduate Certificate in Hospitality and Leadership will normally hold, or expect to hold before the programme commences, an undergraduate degree, usually a Second Class Honours or equivalent in a related area. Relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of an academic qualification. IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent if applicable.



Applicants will be invited to an online interview.



Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of an academic qualification.
