ATU - Galway Campuses
Human Resource Management & Employee Relations - Galway
This programme is designed to give learners an interdisciplinary perspective on the management of people in organisations and to develop a distinctive combination of skills, knowledge and competencies around HRM & ER practice. It will expose learners to the range of tasks and challenges facing the modern HRM and/or ER manager and enable them to develop effective and efficient responses to those challenges.
Who should apply?
This programme will be attractive to anyone seeking to take the lead in Human Resource Management or Employee Relations in an organisation or anyone who interacts with and manages people in general. In addition, it will be of interest to final year undergraduates, who wish to develop their people skills further and complete an independent study on a HR/ER topic of their choosing. Learners will be exposed to a range of tasks and challenges facing managers and the goal is to develop graduates who will maximise value through employees and provide an effective response to changing labour market conditions.
