Marketing - Sligo
The aim of this programme is to equip learners with high-level knowledge and a high degree of expertise to develop marketing practices to the highest standard. The student will synthesise leading-edge knowledge within the marketing discipline complimented by practical insights and approaches to practice. The programme will reflect contemporary contextual challenges from digital, to marketing effectiveness, to commercial considerations.

Entry requirements
Applicants should have a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) Level 8 2.2 minimum or above. Applications will also be considered from graduates with a Level 7 Bachelor of Business Studies (Ordinary) plus 3 years relevant marketing work experience that will be subject to consideration under ATU’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Applications are also welcome from graduates with Level 8 (Honours) primary degrees in any discipline plus 3 years relevant work experience in a management/supervisory role.

When to Apply
Flexible learning courses are popular, and they fill on a first come, first served basis. There are two major intake periods throughout the academic year, September and January.
For January start courses, applications typically open in October, and for September start courses, applications typically open in February. Closing dates for applications are listed on the individual course webpages.

Duration
2 years part-time online.
Study Hours
For the part-time study of the MSc in Marketing, there will be two to three modules per semester. Each will have two to three hours of live online lectures per week. Live lectures normally take place after 6pm, Monday to Thursday.
On-Campus Attendance: No attendance required.

Progression Pathways
Many of our Masters programmes are structured in a way that includes recognised entry and exit awards. This means that you can apply for part of Masters first and learn at your own pace or if you are unable to complete the full programme, you can still gain a recognised qualification. Our entry and exit awards typically include Postgraduate Certificate award and a Postgraduate Diploma award.
