Medical Imaging & Radiation Sciences
Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences at UCC is a new programme designed to provide diagnostic radiographers, radiation therapists, and allied health professionals with the post-registration knowledge and skills to embark on specialist practice. The programme is delivered entirely online and will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to practice using advanced imaging modalities, treatment techniques, and in areas of extended or advancing practice. The Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences is a flexible part-time route where you undertake 30 credits of modules to be eligible for a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences award. A further 30-credit acquisition makes you eligible for a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences award and a final 30 credits of study allows you to qualify for the award of an MSc in Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Imagining and Radiation Sciences has 9 distinct Specialty Pathways each with their own pathway-specific modules and learning outcomes:

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
