Trauma Informed Care within Mental Health (10 ECTS)
Entry requirements
Participants must:
Nurses/midwives, medical doctors and health and social care professionals (HSCPs) and registered with a recognised professional body appropriate to their field
Currently employed in a professional practice setting in which the utilisation of the course material can contribute to quality care.
Currently employed in a professional role with a scope of practice which is congruent with the utilisation of the course material within a practice context.
All applicants will hold a relevant Level 8 qualification.
Applicants who do not have a level 8 qualification may apply for entry to the programme in accordance with the procedures outlined in the DkIT Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy.
Duration
1 semester, part-time, blended.
This programme will be delivered via live on-line lectures one day a week (09.00hrs to 12.00hrs). Students will also be required to attend DkIT for some face to face workshops (09.00hrs to 16.00hrs).
